FEE PER ITEM
Most patients in our Devizes dental practice pay fees. Others belong
to a monthly payment plan. Specific treatment plans totalling more than
£500 can be financed at 0% interest through CLODE plc, the healthcare
finance house. (Visit www.clode.plc.uk).

A printed and duplicated Fee List is provided for each course of treatment.
Most treatments are defined and costed, and the treatments that are of
a variable fee are estimated for that particular course if they apply.
For example, fixed fees cover examinations, Hygienist, simple
restorations, root canal treatment. Variable fees will cover dentures,
surgery, veneers, crowns and bridges.
Our aim is to provide you with an as accurate as possible fee estimate
at the outset, so you know where you stand. You normally sign and date
your acceptance of the estimate and retain the duplicate copy.
A New Patient, being unknown to us, would pay a deposit on booking of
£50.00 and the balance on arrival.
Our regular patients pay on completion of treatment. Complex treatment
plans may consist of several Stages, and payment is made for each stage
as the plan progresses. This eases the budget for the patient.
We accept most credit and debit cards. Payment can be made by phone where
necessary.
0% Finance Treatment Plans:
This Wiltshire dentist can offer 0% Finance Payment Plans in certain cases.
We work with CLODE
plc, the healthcare finance house, and may offer attractive finance
to you for a treatment plan that totals more than £500.
Denplan Cover
A proportion of patients have Denplan cover. This covers your routine
necessary dental treatment and spreads payments by regular monthly direct
debits. Individual costs vary according to individual needs for services.
(Monthly rates are related to the perceived risk of the patient needing
treatment on a scale of A to E, where A is low risk. Generally Denplan
is recommended for low to medium risk patients in our Practice. Please
note that certain extra costs can be incurred: for example, if a crown
is provided then the patient pays the laboratory fee.)
Denplan offers excellent world emergency cover as a supplement.
We may accept you as a Denplan member once you have had a full assessment.
Children’s Tariff
The children (0 to 18y) of our regular adult patients can take advantage
of our low cost Children’s Tariff. For those up to 6 years old treatment
is free. Genuine out of hours emergencies
are free to all children.
In our experience, most do not need a great deal of treatment overall,
because we take a preventive approach. Hygienist visits are charged at
the normal rate per visit, but parents are welcome to book up to 3 children,
all family or family+friends, in a shared children’s visit for preventive
instruction/monitoring.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you do a Pensioner's fee discount?
Afraid not. We are a totally private contract practice and so there
is no Government funding available to us.
Am I going to start having my treatment and then find I've got to
pay more than I want to afford?
No. At your Examination we provide a written and duplicated menu
of treatment costs with your particular treatments specified and estimated.
In the event of a deviation from the plan during visits, then we will notify
and discuss. You can withdraw from a treatment plan before completion, and
you settle for what you have had in total.
Is it possible to pay as I go over several visits?
Yes. We issue a receipt for each instalment. We do insist that
the whole payment has been completed by the completion of all treatment.
Are you fees likely to rise soon?
Current fees shown are guaranteed until the end of 2007. Our lowest filling fee is still only £30. Compare that to similar practices.
